Real Solar is a solar installer based in Backus, Minnesota, that focuses on residential, commercial and nonprofit projects. For the past decade, the team at Real Solar has committed themselves to providing quality workmanship and spreading the benefits of renewable energy. ​Real Solar traces its origins to the Rural Renewable Energy Alliance, a nonprofit that was founded to help Minnesotans benefit from solar energy. Real Solar began operating as a self-standing subsidiary of the nonprofit in 2014 and has designed and constructed more than four megawatts of solar systems. Real Solar is comprised of a team of electricians, sales staff and operations personnel that work together to ensure we provide the best possible experience to our clients, from small off-grid projects to large-scale commercial customers.
