Over the last 24 years, Zapotec Energy has developed a thorough working knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment, development, design and installation practices, project contract terms, quality installations and on-going maintenance services. Installations and technical consulting have exposed Zapotec to many solar projects that were subject to different local site conditions and regulations. Zapotec Energy has tackled a wide range of issues, from permitting to interconnection, by engaging local inspectors, fire safety officials and other involved parties. In addition, working with many manufacturers of inverters, panels and racking has allowed Zapotec Energy to become familiar with a variety of products and specifications, including their performance, functionality, installation procedures and warranties. Zapotec Energy has a staff of engineers holding Professional Engineer and Construction Supervisor licenses, as well as Engineer-in-Training and NABCEP Certifications.
