The EPC entities may be forced or willingly migrate towards EPC designs with First Solar (made in America) panels and Nextracker torque tubes, but the batteries, perhaps the BOM like string inverters may get hit with higher tariffs, they may be frozen into components and materials from China that may well get hit with up to 50% tariff that may slow down or stop new projects from moving from design to construction due to overarching cost adders of up to 50% on component costs. It will be interesting to see what the in place industry of installation and construction companies do when tariffs on the particular components they use often from sources like China will do when these tariffs go up this year and it looks like until 2027.
