The thing about First Solar, they have been doing this for almost 21 years since the company started in Tucson Arizona about 1999-2000 and by 2003 First Solar had the (first) cradle to cradle recycling program. In business for about 24 years and having a recycling program from 2003 is a substantial commitment from this company from the start. I believe it was on this thread a couple of years back First Solar announced they would be installing solar PV panels on the plants around the World and drive the manufacturing process of manufacturing solar PV panels using solar PV energy. After about 3 years of daily use, what would the carbon load of the plant be, making solar PV with solar PV derived energy?
