Method
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 4 tbsp Bart soy ginger paste
- 1x 250g microwave grains of choice
- 250g pak choi
- Knob of butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Bart garlic paste
- Toasted sesame seeds, to serve
Method
1. Place the salmon fillets in a small, lined ovenproof baking dish. Add the Sticky Soy & Garlic Paste and rub it evenly over the fillets until fully coated. For enhanced flavour, marinate in the fridge for up to 4 hours.
2. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
3. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly caramelised on top.
4. While the salmon is cooking, slice the pak choi in half lengthways and rinse well under water. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Place the pak choi cut-side down and fry for 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes until tender. Remove from the heat and set aside.
5. Cook the grains according to packet instructions once the salmon is nearly done.
6. Divide the cooked grains between two serving bowls. Top with the roasted salmon and serve with the pan-fried pak choi. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for a finishing touch.
